Search these periodical index databases:

Use: ProQuest All Subjects


Use: Factiva


Use: LexisNexis Academic


Use: Business Source Complete


In many of the databases listed above, look for the COMPANY field to input your company name so that articles retrieved are focused on the company. Searching ABSTRACTS also provides more targeted results. These search field choices often appear in a dropdown near the search box.


Use: Bloomberg.  Search for and display a company, and enter CN < GO > .


Use: FT.com Registration is required and instructions are available on the link provided here.


Use: Capital IQ which also has company news. (Private and public information)
Search for your company in the top search bar. The News, Events & Filings section will appear on the left. 


Use: PrivCo
For private company information (primarily US but some Canadian)


Use EMIS Intelligence for companies in Emerging Markets/Economies (click on Client Login)
