Search Bloomberg (available in the Business Library). Type the Ticker Symbol then press the EQUITY key. Type WACC and press GO.

To calculate WACC in Capital IQ using the excel plugin - available on the Business Library terminals, follow these instructions:

To calculate Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) using the S&P Capital IQ Excel Plug-In, use the template in the Excel Plug-In. To access the template:
  1. Select S&P Capital IQ from the:
    1. menu bar for Excel 2007 and higher.
      OR
    2. Add-Ins tab for Excel 2003.
  2. Click Templates\Valuation\+WACC Template.
  3. Select Cell C1.
  4. Type the desired exchange:ticker in place of NYSE:MHP.Note: The values in red under Assumptions are arbitrary and need to be manually manipulated based on the company and the industry for a true WACC value. Click here for Internal information.
  5. Press Enter to recalculate.
The WACC value is located in cell I45.

To calculate the WACC yourself, try this formula. Or, if you know the ticker symbol for the company, try That's WACC.
