How do I cite a PDF document that I found on a website?

To cite a PDF, follow the APA guidelines for the relevant type of document that you are citing. If the document is a report or grey literature, see section 10.4 in the APA manual (pp. 329-331).

References to reports and grey literature should include the author's or group's name, the date, the title of the report, the publisher's name, and the DOI or URL (p. 329).

Note

All information and page number references are based on the 7th edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (2020).
